                  Printing Tips

When printing, the following are some ideas and tips on how to print basic internet or high-end pictures:

The first thing to remember, when you go to print a picture off the computer ...is the printer that you use and the print options that it gives you.  Each printer has options to select, such as, the "type of paper" you are using, which is also called the paper quality, and also the "quality of the ink setting".  For example, if you want to print a basic color picture off of a web page just for reference, then you would "not need" to set your printer options to the best settings.  However, if you need a picture off of a web page or even a file that you have to put on display, then you would need customized settings on the printer and use the photo enhance setting.

When printing a picture, please remember, the quality and type of picture you want depends on what you are going to use the printed picture for.  If you need any help printing a picture at our shop, ask a member of our staff.  We have many different qualities of paper that will suit your printing needs.

If pulling a graphic off of a web page, the print quality will also depend on the quality of the actual picture on the web page.

Again remember: It depends on the type of paper (plan, matte, heavy weight, or gloss etc.) then the ink setting (automatic, photo enhance, or custom) if you want to get the best or basic result.
