Getting Your E-Mail
One clever method I have for getting your e-mail, is
called Mail2Web. Go to Google and type in Mail2Web, or
www.mail2web.com. (make link) If you do
not have a web-based e-mail account that you can access from other computers, or
if you normally use an e-mail program such as Microsoft Outlook, then Mail2Web
is a good site you can go to, to check your e-mail when visiting a computer that
is not your own.
Another option is to open a universal, quick, basic e-mail account such as
hotmail, yahoo, or another free web-based e-mail account With this you will be
able to send and receive e-mail from anywhere in the world. There are many free
e-mail programs out there that you can set up, if for some reason you are unable
to access your normal address. If you need help setting one up, come on in and
one of our staff will be more than happy to help.
Remember if you are trying to access a company or school e-mail account, they
may have firewall blocks to keep you from accessing them from computers other
than your personal one.
